Our Waterproof Organic Single Sheets are designed with a premium non-toxic TPU lining that provides complete protection without compromising on comfort. Unlike traditional waterproof layers that feel crinkly, stiff, or noisy, our soft TPU membrane is flexible, silent, and breathable, ensuring your baby sleeps soundly on a smooth, natural surface.
This innovative lining is free from PVC, phthalates, and harmful chemicals, making it a safe, eco-friendly choice for sensitive skin. With its ultra-thin yet durable construction, it blocks moisture from spills, nappy leaks, and overnight accidents while maintaining the cosy softness of organic cotton on top.
Made from ultra-soft, breathable organic cotton, these sheets help regulate temperature and protect delicate skin—making them the perfect choice for little ones. Care Guide
Our waterproof sheets are thoughtfully designed to be durable, practical, and made to handle everyday adventures. To keep them looking and performing their best, please follow the care guidelines below.
Care Guide
- Machine wash cold or warm (below 40°C / 140°F)
- Line dry in the shade or tumble dry on a low setting
- Do not bleach
- Do not iron
- Do not dry clean
- Do not soak
Always check the care label attached to your product before washing.
To maintain the waterproof barrier, avoid exposing your sheet to high temperatures or harsh cleaning products. Excessive heat can damage the waterproof TPU lining, which may cause it to separate from the fabric and reduce its waterproof performance.

Really happy with our order. The packaging was lovely, the sheet feels beautiful and I love that the designs don’t look like every other kids bedding brand.

Anything that reduces the washing pile in a house with three kids gets my vote 😂 Love not having a separate protector underneath anymore.

I don’t normally leave reviews but this is one of those products that genuinely makes parenting slightly easier 😂 Cute, soft, waterproof and one less layer of washing. Love ours.
- SSophieYesterdayReviewingStrawberry Fields Waterproof Single SheetRated 5 out of 5 starsFinally waterproof bedding thats cute!
I’m a sucker for nice kids bedding and usually anything practical is ugly 😂 This is the first waterproof sheet I’ve found that I’d actually buy just for the print.
QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Everything you need to know about NUMI
From waterproofing and washing to sizing and those inevitable 3am accidents.
NUMI combines a fitted sheet and waterproof mattress protection in one practical layer. Soft organic cotton is the comfortable surface your child sleeps on, while a discreet waterproof layer underneath helps protect the mattress from wees, spills and everyday accidents. Because protection is built in, you don’t need to put a separate traditional mattress protector underneath.
The waterproof layer is designed to help keep liquid from reaching the mattress during normal use. It extends down the sides of the fitted sheet for extra mattress coverage, giving parents added reassurance around bedtime spills and accidents. As with any bedding, correct sizing and care help the sheet fit and perform as intended; it isn’t a promise against every possible leak or situation.
Waterproof fitted sheets can make nighttime toilet training and bedwetting less stressful by helping protect the mattress when an accident happens. Try the NUMI two-sheet setup: layer two NUMI sheets before bed. If the top one gets wet overnight, remove it and there’s already a clean waterproof sheet underneath. Less bed changing in the middle of the night—and a little more sleep for everyone. You’ll thank us at 3am.
NUMI was created to remove the need for a separate fitted sheet and mattress protector. Its waterproof protection is built into the fitted sheet, so it works as a convenient mattress protector alternative without adding another layer under your child.
They’re designed to feel like lovely everyday bedding, not a plastic-feeling protector. The sleeping surface is soft 300 thread count GOTS-certified organic cotton, paired with a breathable TPU waterproof layer beneath. The result is a comfortable, no-crinkle feel for little sleepers.
NUMI currently offers Cot and Single waterproof fitted sheets, made for everyday toddler bedding and growing kids’ beds. Before ordering, measure your mattress and compare it with the Size Guide to check the best fit. Explore Cot Sheets or Single Bed Sheets.
Wash below 40°C, then line dry in the shade or tumble dry on low. Do not bleach, soak, dry clean or iron. Following these simple care instructions helps keep your organic cotton bedding feeling its best.
Yes. NUMI waterproof pillowcases help protect pillows from dribbles, spills, sweat and nighttime mess while still looking and feeling like normal bedding. Explore Waterproof Pillowcases.
With a traditional setup, you make the bed with a mattress protector and then add another fitted sheet over the top. NUMI brings both functions together in one layer: fewer layers, easier bed changes and a soft sheet ready to sleep on. It’s practical protection with original hand-painted prints that make kids’ beds feel like their own.
Every NUMI print begins as original artwork created by founders Billie and Colby on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Their hand-painted designs bring a personal, playful touch to thoughtfully made kids bedding in Australia, turning practical waterproof bed sheets into something special for the whole room.
