NUMI brings a fitted sheet and waterproof mattress protection together in one practical layer. Soft organic cotton is the surface your child sleeps on, while a discreet waterproof layer underneath helps shield the mattress from wees, spills and everyday accidents. It’s a simpler bed-making routine: there’s no need to add a separate traditional mattress protector underneath. Our waterproof bed sheets are made for real family life, with the comfort of familiar bedding and protection built in.

NUMI’s waterproof layer is designed to help protect the mattress from everyday wet messes, and the protection extends down the sides of the fitted sheet for extra coverage. As with any bedding, a well-fitted sheet on a mattress within the stated size range helps it work as intended. Our waterproof sheets for kids offer a practical barrier, not a promise that every situation or mattress setup is protected under all conditions.

Waterproof fitted sheets can make toilet training nights and bedwetting feel less stressful by helping protect the mattress and making clean-up straightforward. Try the NUMI two-sheet setup: layer two NUMI sheets before bed. If the top one gets wet, simply take it off and there’s already a clean waterproof sheet underneath. Keep a spare set nearby for an even quicker change. You’ll thank us at 3am. It’s a useful option for toddler bedding as routines and nighttime confidence change.

NUMI was specifically created to combine the fitted sheet and waterproof protection in one layer, so you don’t need a separate fitted sheet and traditional mattress protector underneath. For many families, it’s a convenient mattress protector alternative that means fewer layers to wash, store and remake after an accident.

They’re designed to feel like lovely everyday bedding, rather than a plastic-feeling protector. The sleep surface is soft 300 thread count GOTS-certified organic cotton, paired with a breathable TPU waterproof layer beneath. The construction has a no-crinkle feel, so kids can settle into comfortable bedding without the familiar rustle of some waterproof layers.

NUMI currently offers waterproof cot sheets and waterproof single bed sheets. Before ordering, measure your mattress and compare it with the Size Guide so you can choose the best fit. Explore Cot Sheets and Single Bed Sheets to find the right size and print for your child’s bed.

Wash below 40°C, then line dry in the shade or tumble dry on low. Do not bleach, soak, dry clean or iron. Following these care instructions helps keep your sheet ready for the next bedtime, while looking after its materials.

Yes. NUMI waterproof pillowcases are designed to help protect pillows from dribbles, spills, sweat and nighttime mess, while still looking and feeling like normal bedding. They’re an easy addition to a child’s sleep setup when you’d like a little extra practical protection. See the Waterproof Pillowcases collection for available styles.

A traditional setup usually means putting on a mattress protector, then a separate fitted sheet over it. NUMI combines both functions in one layer, which means fewer layers, easier bed changes and less laundry to manage. The practical design doesn’t have to look plain, either: every sheet features original hand-painted prints created with family bedrooms in mind.

Every NUMI print begins as original artwork created by founders Billie and Colby on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The hand-painted designs bring a personal touch to everyday kids bedding in Australia, made to feel joyful at home while still being practical for busy family nights.
