NUMI combines a fitted sheet and waterproof mattress protection in one practical layer. Your child sleeps on soft organic cotton, while a discreet waterproof layer underneath helps shield the mattress from wees, spills and everyday accidents. It’s a simpler bed-making routine, without a separate traditional mattress protector underneath.

The waterproof layer is built into the sheet to help protect the mattress from everyday wetness and spills. NUMI’s waterproofing also extends down the sides of the fitted sheet, giving the mattress more coverage than a waterproof layer that sits only across the sleeping surface. For the best fit and protection, choose the correct size and fit the sheet securely to your mattress.

Waterproof fitted sheets can make nighttime toilet training, bedwetting and unexpected accidents easier to manage, with less worry about the mattress. Try the NUMI two-sheet setup: layer two NUMI sheets before bed. If the top one gets wet during the night, remove it and there’s already a clean waterproof sheet underneath. No frantic bed-making in the dark. You’ll thank us at 3am.

NUMI was created to bring a fitted sheet and waterproof mattress protection together, so you don’t need to add a separate fitted protector underneath. The built-in layer makes it a convenient mattress protector alternative for everyday family life, with fewer pieces to wash and put back on the bed.

They’re designed to feel like lovely everyday bedding, not a traditional plastic-feeling protector. The sleep surface is soft 300 thread count GOTS-certified organic cotton, paired with a breathable TPU waterproof layer beneath. The result is a comfortable, no-crinkle feel for little sleepers and parents who appreciate a quieter night.

NUMI waterproof fitted sheets are currently available in Cot and Single sizes, for little ones moving from cot to bigger bed. Mattress dimensions and depths can vary, so measure your mattress and check the Size Guide before ordering to find the right fit. Explore Cot Sheets and Single Bed Sheets to see the options.

Wash below 40°C. Line dry in the shade or tumble dry on low. Do not bleach, soak, dry clean or iron. Following these simple care instructions helps you look after the cotton and waterproof layer, so your sheets are ready for the next bedtime or unexpected spill.

A normal setup usually means making the bed with a mattress protector, then adding another fitted sheet over the top. NUMI combines both functions into one layer: fewer layers, simpler laundry and easier bed changes when life gets messy. You also get the comfort of a proper cotton sheet and NUMI’s original hand-painted prints, rather than a protector hidden beneath plain bedding.

Every NUMI print begins as original artwork created by founders Billie and Colby on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Their hand-painted designs bring colour and a little personality to practical kids bedding in Australia, turning everyday essentials into bedding children can feel at home in.
